Reggae on the River

Over the course of the last 40 years, over half a million people have made the pilgrimage to this unique setting in Humboldt County on the the Eel River.  They’ve come to enjoy the arts, the river, the redwoods, the excitement, the ganja, the people, the unity, and the world renowned artists that only Reggae on the River can offer!

Our first artist announcement is finally here!  First up, representing Trinidad & Tobago, we have the matriarch of reggae music, it's Queen Omega!  Next from the Uk via the motherland of Africa, it's Afrobeats superstar Afro B!  If one act is forever synonymous with our festival and reggae music, it’s the esteemed and legendary Third World!  This next Dancehall supergroup will be touching down at Reggae on the River for the very first time in 2025, performing their absolute plethora of hits, it's T.O.K!  

For over 30 years this roots artist has thrived and held firm off of his songs praising Rastafari and wowing crowd's Worldwide, it's Luciano!  Fresh off his stellar performances on the Welcome to Jamrock Cruise and Jamaica's recent Intimate festival, we bring to our stage for the first time, Bugle! Originally from Germany via her Puerto Rican Roots, this female vocalist is always on point, whether it's her slew of amazing combinations with other artists or solo, it's the amazing Sarah Lugo!

Up next is the "Turn Red" UK viral Dancehall sensation MDOTR!  Recording his first song at the age of 5 and growing from those days to having hits alongside artists like Tory Lanez & Chronixx with his own solo hits like "As Crazy as it is", it's Keznamdi!  Hailing from St. Ann's Parish in Jamaica is the king of modern lovers rock, the romeo of reggae, it's Romain Virgo!

"Gyal you a Party Animal" is hands down one of the biggest worldwide smash hits to come out of Jamaica in the last decade, and it's all thanks to the Artist named Charly Black!  And finally, fresh off his Grammy award winning album that just dropped last year, it's Julian Marley!
